A Co-Star alternative you can talk to
Co-Star tells you something about your day. Solstice lets you answer back. Both read your birth chart against today's planets. The difference is what happens next.
What Co-Star does well
- Short daily notes that are easy to read in a few seconds.
- Comparing your chart with friends who also use the app.
- A sharp, recognisable voice.
If those are what you want, Co-Star is a good choice.
Where Solstice is different
You can ask why. When the day's theme says you may speak too fast, you can ask what to do about the meeting at three. Then ask again. There is no short list of questions per day.
It remembers your week. Tell Solstice about a date, a deadline or a hard conversation, and it follows up when the day comes. Ask it to forget something, and it does.
It shows the chart behind the words. Tap a phrase like "Mars squares your Mercury" to see the placement, the orb and whether the transit is getting stronger or fading.
The tone is warm, not blunt. Solstice talks like a steady friend who knows astrology, not like a push notification.

Can I use both?
Yes. Many people read a short note in the morning and talk things through later. Solstice only needs your birth date, time and place to start.
