The fourth house

The fourth house is home and roots: the family you came from, the place you live, and the private self no one else sees.

What the fourth house covers

The fourth house starts at the lowest point of the chart, the IC. It covers your home, your parents (traditionally the father), your ancestry, land and property, and the end of things. Planets here shape what home means to you. The Moon here needs a nest. Uranus here moves house often.

Giveth Judgment of Fathers in generall & ever of his Father that enquires, or that is born; of Lands, Houses, Tenements, Inheritances, Tillage of the earth, Treasures hidden, the determination or end of any thing.

Transits through the fourth house

Transits through the fourth house stir up home life: a move, a renovation, a parent who needs care, or old family feelings that come back.

Your the fourth house

Houses come from your birth time and place. The sign on the cusp of the fourth house and the planets in it are yours alone. Solstice works them out and tells you when a planet moves through it.
