Cancer
Cancer is the sign of home and memory. It protects what it loves, with a hard shell over a soft inside.
The Sun is in Cancer from about Jun 21 to Jul 22. The exact moment moves a little each year.

What Cancer is like
Cancer feels first and thinks second. It remembers every kindness and every slight. It cares for people and keeps a home, a family or a team together. When it is hurt it goes sideways or into its shell, and it can sulk instead of saying what it needs.
Cancer is a cardinal water sign, ruled by the Moon. Its symbol is the crab.
Cancer in love
In love Cancer wants safety before it shows itself. It cooks, it remembers dates, it checks in. It needs a partner who notices its moods without making it explain each one.
Cancer gets on most easily with the other water signs and with the earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The opposite sign, Capricorn, pulls and pushes at once. A real match depends on whole charts: the Moon, Venus and Mars matter as much as the Sun.
Cancer at work
At work Cancer is good at care: nursing, teaching, food, property, family business and anything where people need looking after. It works hard for a boss it trusts.
