Fixed signs

The fixed signs sit in the middle of each season. They are the signs that hold on.

What they share

Fixed signs keep things going. They are loyal, steady and hard to move, which is a strength in a crisis and a problem when change is due. When a fixed sign decides, it stays decided.

Taurus holds on to comfort, Leo to pride, Scorpio to bonds, and Aquarius to its ideals.

The fixed signs

• Taurus: Steady, sensual and hard to move.
• Leo: Warm, proud and made for an audience.
• Scorpio: Intense, private and all or nothing.
• Aquarius: Independent, idealistic and a little apart.

Many planets in fixed signs

A Sun sign is one planet. Your chart has ten, and the balance between the elements and the modalities says a lot about how you move through life. Solstice counts them in your chart and tells you which side is strong and which is thin.
