Fire signs

Fire is the element of spirit and drive. The fire signs act first, hope hard and warm the people around them.

What they share

Fire signs trust their own spark. They are brave, frank and quick to get going. They lose interest when life turns into upkeep, and they can burn through people and plans. In a chart with a lot of fire, a little earth or water helps the fire last.

Aries starts the fire, Leo keeps it burning, and Sagittarius carries it far.

The fire signs

• Aries: The first spark: courage, speed and a short fuse.
• Leo: Warm, proud and made for an audience.
• Sagittarius: Free, frank and always heading somewhere.

Many planets in fire signs

A Sun sign is one planet. Your chart has ten, and the balance between the elements and the modalities says a lot about how you move through life. Solstice counts them in your chart and tells you which side is strong and which is thin.
