Aries
Aries is the first sign, the fire that starts things. It is quick to act, quick to anger and quick to forgive.
The Sun is in Aries from about Mar 20 to Apr 20. The exact moment moves a little each year.

What Aries is like
Aries wants to go first. It is honest to the point of rude, brave when others hesitate, and bored by anything that takes too long. The gift is momentum. The cost is the trail of half-done things behind it, and the people who felt run over on the way.
Aries is a cardinal fire sign, ruled by Mars. Its symbol is the ram.
Aries in love
In love Aries likes a chase and a clear yes. It shows care by doing, not by talking. It needs a partner who can push back without sulking, because a fight that clears the air feels closer to Aries than a polite silence.
Aries gets on most easily with the other fire signs and with the air signs, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The opposite sign, Libra, pulls and pushes at once. A real match depends on whole charts: the Moon, Venus and Mars matter as much as the Sun.
Aries at work
At work Aries is best at the start of things: launches, rescues, first drafts, anything with a deadline and a rival. Routine and committees wear it down. It does well as a founder, in sport, in emergency work and in sales.
